When should I use a PTFE coated fabric?

PTFE coated fabric is recommended for applications having at least one of the following requirements:

  • High temperature . 550 F for most applications
  • Non-stick (good release)
  • Slippery (low coefficient of friction)
  • Direct food contact
  • Electrical insulation
  • Product conveyed is heated from the underside of the belt
  • Microwave heating of product conveyed
  • Dielectric heating of product conveyed
  • Chemical inertness
