What is the difference between "release" and "non-stick"?

Carey Bienert -

Release is a specific term in regards to our fabric. Depending on the application, the release fabric can leave an impression or a rough surface allowing the next ply to bond better. Another release fabric, in contrast, can leave a very smooth finished result. Other release fabrics are very porous and release gasses during the process.

Nonstick is a general term in regards to our fabric. A non-stick surface is a surface engineered to reduce the ability of other materials to stick to it.
